Created the book jacket illustration for Rebecca Balcarcel's novel, reading the manuscript beforehand to develop a visual concept that reflected the story's themes and its connections between the United States and Guatemala. Incorporated elements of Guatemalan culture into the visual storytelling while creating the artwork entirely in modeling clay. Developed both the English and Spanish title treatments as part of the final cover artwork.
